Until the two get another chance to battle it out, the debate surrounding the best quarterback in the Big Ten will continue to lack a clear consensus. Dante Moore of Oregon, however, heads into this season with everything he needs to end the debate against Jayden Maiava and USC.
In a recent article, Logan Brown ranks Dante Moore as the best quarterback in the Big Ten. Here is what he had to say about Moore:
"Dante Moore could have been a top-five pick in April's NFL draft, but opted to return to Eugene for another run. The Ducks have stacked the deck around him. They are supporting Moore's Heisman run and potential national championship bid with arguably the best receiver corps in the country. Moore's downfield accuracy is impeccable, especially when ripping the seam. Like Sayin, Moore didn't always show up in the biggest games, stumbling twice against Indiana and failing to diagnose the pressures the defense brought to his front door."
Dante Moore's talent alone puts him in conversation for the best quarterback in his conference and country, but with the resources he has, there is a lot for the taking for Moore. Entering this season with more confidence and more motivation, Dante Moore will have a big season this year. If he has a big season, not only will Oregon quickly become a favorite to win it all, but Moore could enter his name in consideration for being the next Big Ten quarterback to go #1 overall.
