This past season, every big-time player the OregonDucks could have wanted back chose to return. The Ducks enter this season with a lot of continuity and stars returning on both sides of the field. That is exactly what head coach Dan Lanning needs to be confident this year for Oregon.
In a recent tweet, ON3 showed exactly where head coach Dan Lanning feels his team is for this upcoming season. Here is what he had to say:
"It takes time. It’s hard. It’s hard to build. There’s, what, four active coaches that have won national championships? We’re close."
The Ducks this season are a team in debate for the best roster in college football. There are zero holes on this Ducks team. The defensive line is as good as any, and Dante Moore leading the show will be up for the Heisman. Dante Moore has weapons galore and a very complementary run game. Dan Lanning has his hands on the best roster maybe the program has seen in recent years. That spells trouble for a USC Trojans team that needs a win against their rival this season for contention. The perfectly assembled Ducks will either be a humbling loss for the Trojans or their statement win of the season.
