The Dallas Cowboys have some good news and some bad news on the injury front, heading into their Week 15 matchup with the Minnesota Vikings. On the bad news side, they will have to square off against Brian Flores' very good defensive unit without their starter at left tackle. Tyler Guyton, who has been dealing with an ankle injury the last few weeks, is still not ready to go and has been ruled out. Guyton didn't practice all week, lending speculation he could also miss next week's game against the Los Angeles Chargers.
Second-year tackle Nate Thomas will start in his place. The Cowboys won't be looking for a replacement, however, for wideout CeeDee Lamb. After suffering a scary concussion in the team's Week 14 loss to Detroit, Lamb cleared protocol on Friday and has no injury designation for this game.
Somewhere in the middle is the curious case of Trevon Diggs, who has still not been activated from injured reserve, despite practicing for the last few weeks. His potentially missing the contest seems more about coaching (and front office) decisions, than anything injury related. Also questionable is tight end Jake Ferguson, who was limited in action on Friday after missing Thursday's work with a calf injury.
On the opposite sideline, it appears that JJ McCarthy will have his full compliment of receivers at his disposal. Jordan Addison has been dealing with an Achilles injury, but he carries no game designation in this contest.
Here's a run down for both clubs.
