Cowboys Headlines: Top 10 defense a pipe dream? New Pickens options?

The Dallas Cowboys' offseason plan has been to focus on adding talent on defense, and many would consider it a success. Still, the same questions remain at all three levels of the defense, and while Dallas believes they have the pieces in place, the answers won't come until the season's underway. In the meantime, the Cowboys coaching staff is preparing itself for a long season, hopefully more successful than 2025.

Aside from that, Dallas' offseason chatter has centered around receiver George Pickens. Pickens signed his franchise tag tender after looking and failing to find a trade partner. Now the Cowboys and Pickens plan to play out the season. After that, Dallas has a few options on how to handle the situation, and each one has the potential to help them down the road.
