Cowboys Headlines: LB concerns persist, Cowboys next sack leader

The Dallas Cowboys concerns at linebacker remain in effect until the current group proves the organization's faith in them is well placed. A familiar name has once again been projected as a perfect fit: Bobby Wagner. There's no question his experience and leadership would go a long way toward turning around this defensive unit, but the concern about Wagner is his age and his ability to drop into coverage in Christian Parker's defensive scheme. The Cowboys seem content at linebacker right now, but things can change.

Another concern heading into the season for this defense: who will lead them in sacks? This group generates pressure, but no one was able to get home consistently. It could be Rashan Gary, the most experienced edge rusher in the group, second-year edge rusher Donovan Ezeiruaku, or defensive tackle Quinnen Williams. Whoever it is for Dallas, they'll need to get off to an early start; if they can, it will make things a lot easier for the entire defense.
