The anticipation for the Dallas Cowboys schedule release builds towards Thursday night's event, and the the miles Dallas will travel during the 2026 NFL season ranks high among the 32 NFL teams. The NFL unveiled their full slate of overseas NFL games on Wednesday, including the first-ever game to be held in Paris featuring the Steelers against the fleur-de-lis wearing Saints. The league also introduced the first ever Thanksgiving Eve game pitting the Packers in Los Angeles against the Rams to be streamed on Netflix. The NFL will begin the season just the way it ended 2025 with Seattle hosting the New England Patriots.
Back to Dallas, a new 53-man roster prediction hit the streets. The running back position may be the one group with varying names yet a familiar foe has been named as a potential cap casualty who could make his way to Dallas. Whoever is carrying the rock this season, they will certainly take a back seat to QB Dak Prescott who is favored to lead the league in touchdown passes.
While offense has certainly been the flavor of the week, the Dallas defense will be questioned until game action arrives, from rookie unknowns to interior makeovers. For those pinning their hopes solely on new defensive coordinator Christian Parker, they may want to get to know Derrick Ansley, the other architect assisting with the rebuild.
Nationally, good news in Atlanta as QB Michael Penix was throwing the football just months after tearing his ACL. Pats seventh-round rookie linebacker Quintayvious Hutchins was charged with domestic assault and battery. Also, Netflix has revealed the next round of signal-caller who will be featured on season 3 of their popular docuseries 'Quarterback.'
