Don't worry about the headline, Cowboys fans. We know you want some help on the defensive side of the ball, but to be clear: the Dallas Cowboys are NOT bringing Dez Bryant in for some sort of workout.
The wide receiving corps is quite comfortable where it stands, with CeeDee Lamb, George Pickens and Ryan Flournoy headlining the group.
And Bryant isn't trying to locally position himself for a possible invitation to training camp the way that some free agent pass rushers who have long been connected to the star may be ... *cough cough* Von Miller *cough cough* ...
Instead ... Bryant, a Cowboys great and the franchise's all-time leader in receiving touchdowns, will be a spectator in sunny California as Dallas continues progressing through training camp.
Bryant announced his intentions to travel to Oxnard on his personal X account on Tuesday:
While Cowboys Nation will likely enjoy seeing a beloved former player back supporting the team, Bryant has several iconic training camp moments from his time in Dallas to reminisce about.
The most infamous occurred during the 2014 Blue-White Scrimmage in Oxnard.

Safety J.J. Wilcox flattened Bryant after the receiver caught a slant during a drill that wasn't supposed to include tackling. Bryant responded with a head-butt, Wilcox threw a punch and the collision sparked the largest fight of camp.
The two eventually hugged it out.
Bryant later praised the intensity, saying Wilcox’s hit had angered him but represented exactly the type of passion Dallas needed to win.
The Cowboys went on to finish 12-4 in the regular season that year before falling to the Green Bay Packers in the divisional round in the now-notorious "Dez Caught It" game.
But the scuffle with Wilcox is far from Bryant's only memorable instance in Oxnard.

One year later ... Bryant got into a fistfight with cornerback Tyler Patmon on the second day in pads, though, like the Wilcox situation, this altercation too ended in an exchange of hugs.
And then, of course, there's the viral video of Bryant approaching each of Dallas' starting defensive backs simply to inform them of one thing:
"You can't guard me."
All three of these instances took place in consecutive training camps, by the way.
It has been just over eight years since Bryant and the Cowboys parted, but anyone who follows the former All-Pro on social media knows his love for the star hasn't faded.
Apparently ... neither has his influence.
