All of the trade and contract agreements become official on Wednesday. While the NFL relented in 2013 that teams were negotiating before the start of each new league year and opened up a 48-hour tampering window, the start of the league year is when all transactions can actually be official.
For the Dallas Cowboys and the other 32 teams, trades and new contracts cannot be turned in to the league office until 4pm on Wednesday. That's when all teams must be in compliance with the 2026 salary cap, which is set to $301.2 million. Once that whistle blows, teams can have the players sign on to the deals, and they can turn the trade agreements into the league office.
Here is the live, continuously updated tracker that will keep pace with all of those moves, both for players joining the Cowboys and those leaving. In addition, we will help keep track of the compensatory pick projections for 2027, based on which qualifying free agents join the team or depart from it.
