The 2026 NFL Draft will take place in Pittsburgh next April, a city where the Bucs found success this preseason with a last-second field goal to defeat the Steelers. Before April, though, there will be plenty of speculation and buildup for the team and who they may add to the roster through the draft.

Bleacher Report's Daniel Harms recently worked on the latest 2026 NFL mock draft of the cycle. Within it, the Bucs were attached to Oregon tight end Kenyon Sadiq. The playmaking tight end has been mocked to the Bucs sometimes, but not often, as the team does have Cade Otton. However, the contract of Otton has expired, so there is an opening for the team to make a change.

Harms explains the Faulk pick, writing, "Cade Otton isn't the most important part of the Buccaneers' offense, but his contract has expired and the unproven players on the depth chart aren't inspiring. Sadiq brings a butt-kicking mentality as a blocker and untapped potential as a pass-catcher. The Oregon product's athletic ability has been on display for years. With new offensive coordinator Zac Robinson, who just helped Kyle Pitts achieve his best season as an NFL player, Sadiq couldn't ask for a better situation."

Otton is one of the more underrated players on the Bucs roster as a whole, so moving on from them won't be an easy decision. However, Sadiq is a good enough athlete and fits what Zac Robinson wants from the position in his offense. Something has to give for the Bucs on the tight end front, and we should have an answer when free agency starts.
