William Paterson University is partnering with two of the professional teams that call Paterson's Hinchliffe Stadium their home — the New York Cosmos soccer team and New Jersey Jackals baseball squad.
Under the arrangement, the Cosmos and Jackals will use William Paterson facilities for training, officials said.
In return, Hinchliffe Sports Partners will provide internships for William Paterson students in various roles with the teams.
The Cosmos, part of a second-tier professional soccer league, will make their debut on March 14 in a 2 p.m. game at Hinchliffe.
The Jackals play in the Frontier League, a minor league baseball organization composed of teams that do not have affiliations with Major League Baseball franchises.

The Jackals’ season starts in May.
Hinchliffe is home to one other squad, the Jersey Shore Wave in the Women’s National Football Conference. Their home season starts in April.
