The Atlanta Falcons have signed over 20 players since the start of the new league year, but the team has never taken its eye off of the salary cap. General manager Ian Cunningham and president of football Matt Ryan inherited a talented roster, however, that talent has a price.

Having stars like Jessie Bates III, Chris Lindstrom and A.J. Terrell -- along with the ghost of Kirk Cousins' contract -- comes at a cost. Nonetheless, the Falcons have done a good job at maximizing their limited funds thus far.

The team signed quarterback Tua Tagovailoa, wide receiver Jahan Dotson and others in the first wave of free agency. Then after Kaleb McGary retired, the Falcons acted quickly to sign former Chiefs offensive tackle Jawaan Taylor.

Spotrac released the contract details for Atlanta's latest free agent additions, including Taylor, running back Brian Robinson Jr. and quarterback Trevor Siemian. Check out the terms for each below.

OT Jawaan Taylor

  • 1-year, $5M: non-guaranteed

RB Brian Robinson Jr.

  • 1-year, $2.5M: $775k guaranteed

QB Trevor Siemian

  • 1-year, $1.3M: non-guaranteed

LB DeAngelo Malone

  • 1-year, $1.5M: $215k guaranteed

CB Darnay Holmes

  • 1-year, $1.2M: non-guaranteed

RB Tyler Goodson

  • 1-year, $1.145M: non-guaranteed

The Falcons have roughly $20 million in cap space ahead of the 2026 NFL Draft. Per usual, Spotrac and Over The Cap have slight disparities, but since Atlanta has no first-round pick, the team's draft class won't cost much. That leaves enough money to add a veteran free agent or two after the draft.
