LAS VEGAS – Along the rise to stardom for Conor McGregor, his "Mystic Mac" predictions were a key part of his UFC fight weeks.

In a week that feels a little bit like a throwback of sorts, McGregor (22-6 MMA, 10-4 UFC) returns – and so did him calling his shot. At the UFC 329 pre-fight news conference Thursday, McGregor revealed his prediction for his bout Saturday vs. Max Holloway at T-Mobile Arena.

"Destruction. I'm going to destroy Max," McGregor said. "I'm going to eliminate Max, the final opponent of mine still within the UFC ranks. All of my other opponents are gone. Max is the last one left and on Saturday night, he gets eliminated for good."

The prediction didn't include a round or a timeframe as most of the vintage "Mystic Mac" predictions did. McGregor didn't just play his best hits, though. He tried to create new ones – including a cover song as he led the crowd in a rendition of "Wonderwall" by Oasis among other things.
