The Boston Red Sox sent down multiple arms on Monday, but left-hander Connelly Early was not one of them; nor was newcomer Johan Oviedo, per MassLive's Chris Cotillo, who subsequently suggested that the Red Sox plan to carry both Early and Oviedo on the Opening Day roster.

Zack Kelly, Tyler Uberstine, Payton Tolle and Tommy Kahnle were all sent down to the minors, according to The Boston Globe's Alex Speier.
