Confirmed 2. Bundesliga lineups: VfL Bochum vs. Hertha BSC
Uwe Rösler names an unchanged side from the most recent friendly with Sheffield United. 18-year-old Alessandro Crimaldi makes his first start for the club whilst new signings Michael Steinwender, Yigit Karademir, Enis Cokaj, Jean-Manuel Mbom and Berkan Taz all make their official Bochum debuts.
Stefan Leitl has made three changes from the draw with Köln in their last friendly. Niklas Kolbe, Soufian Gouram and Sebastian Grønning come in for Martin Dardai, Boris Mamuzah Lum and Luca Schuler. 20-year-old Gouram makes his first start for the club whilst new loan signing Olawaseun Adewumi takes a place on the bench.
