The Hotter’N Hell Hundred bicycle event in Wichita Falls will have an early kickoff this year, according to a media release from the Hoegger advertising agency.
The release said a community bike ride is set for 4 p.m. Aug. 23 at Church Street and Taft Boulevard in front of Midwestern State University.
“Wichita Falls Mayor Tim Short and Midwestern State University President Dr. Stacia Haynie will lead a community bike ride for all to join,” the release said.
It said after the community ride, the Midwestern State University Cycling team will show off their talent and skills during a criterium exhibition race.
Food trucks will be available.
The 2026 Hotter’N Hell Hundred takes place Aug. 27-30.
