Jayden Daniels wasted no time inserting himself into the conversation of being one of the league’s top young quarterbacks last season.
And now? The Washington Commanders are looking to build off Daniels’ stellar rookie campaign by surrounding him with elite talent—including a top-tier left tackle in Laremy Tunsil, and dynamic wide receiver in Deebo Samuel.

“Recency bias? Sure. But you'd be hard-pressed to find an NFL team that wouldn't hurry to claim him as its quarterback of the present and future, contenders included. He was simply unflappable for much of his dynamic debut, which ended on the doorstep of the Super Bowl. Pressure either bursts pipes or makes diamonds and with the league on notice, the world is about to find out if Daniels is truly a diamond. Daniels knows last season means nothing heading into this season—he is focused on continuing to evolve as a leader and helping the Commanders prove last season wasn’t a fluke.
