The U.S. Men's National Soccer Team has advanced to Round 16 of the World Cup, and their next game is July 6 against Belgium. So, Columbus Crew is hosting another free World Cup watch party to don red, white and blue the after July 4 weekend.
The Columbus Crew Soccer Celebration will be at ScottsMiracle-Gro Field at the Chase Plaza, 96 Columbus Crew Way. The gates to the event open at 6:30 p.m., and the game is at 8 p.m.
The event is free and open to the public, though tickets are required. Free tickets can be reserved at cbuscrew.com/USMNTRd16.
The family-friendly event will have food and drinks available for purchase.
Soccer fans are encouraged to bring clear plastic water bottles to utilize water-refilling stations. Picnic blankets and chairs are also recommended as the watch party will be at the Chase Plaza, not in the stadium seats.
As part of the Summer of Soccer, Columbus Crew has hosted watch parties for multiple USA games.
Free parking is available in the 600 W. Spring St. lot and the adjacent Hocking Street lot. Additional paid parking will be available in Astor Park Garage and the North Lot.
