Perhaps of note for the Indianapolis Colts ahead of the 2025 NFL draft, Michigan cornerback Will Johnson held an individual workout on Monday.

According to The Athletic's Dane Brugler, Johnson posted a 37-inch vertical and ran a 4.33-second short shuttle. However, he did not run the 40-yard dash.

Brugler added that Johnson looked "very smooth" during positional drills.

Johnson is considered one of the top cornerbacks in this draft class. Unfortunately, a turf toe injury limited him to just six games last season. He then was unable to work out at Michigan's pro day due to a hamstring injury.

Johnson not running the 40-yard dash is noteworthy, given that one of the questions that seems to be around him is his speed.

On the field, however, Johnson has been highly productive. In his three seasons at Michigan, Johnson allowed a completion rate of 53% at 13.4 yards per catch with nine interceptions and seven pass breakups, according to PFF.

It hasn't been a popular pick in mock drafts, but there have been a few here and there that have the Colts taking Johnson with the 14th pick.

After signing Charvarius Ward in free agency, cornerback is no longer a pressing need for the Colts, but that doesn't mean the boundary position opposite of Ward isn't upgradeable. Not to mention that, depending on how the board falls, Johnson could be one of the top prospects available when the Colts are on the clock.
