The Indianapolis Colts appear to be quite interested in offensive tackle prospect Travis Burke from Memphis.
According to Sports Illustrated's Justin Melo, the Colts will be meeting with Burke virtually prior to the 2026 NFL draft. This will be the second time that the Colts have interviewed Burke, also meeting with him at the NFL combine.
Let's take a closer look at what Burke could bring to the Colts.
Burke is very experienced, having played nearly 3,000 career snaps on offense over five college seasons. This most recent season was his best, as he allowed just three sacks and 13 quarterback pressures over 429 pass blocking snaps. He was also one of PFF's higher graded run-blocking offensive tackles. Burke has experience playing both left and right tackle.
Burke is the 147th-ranked prospect overall on the consensus big board, making him a potential Day 3 pick.
Here is what NFL.com's Lance Zierlein had to say about Burke in his pre-draft scouting report:
The Colts' starting five up front is on the roster already, but the offensive line unit is short on experienced depth. First off the bench at tackle right now is either Luke Tenuta or Blake Freeland. Tenuta has played 35 career offensive snaps, while Freeland has 724, but almost all of those snaps came in 2023.

Travis Burke's draft profile
Here is what NFL.com's Lance Zierlein had to say about Burke in his pre-draft scouting report:
"Burke is a tall tackle with plus drive-blocking talent for his body type. He uses flexible hips and ankles, along with well-placed hands, to create leverage at the point of attack. He finishes blocks with good aggression when the opportunity arises. A lack of short-area quickness limits his range as a run blocker and in pass protection. He’s scheme-dependent in the run game and will need help managing NFL edge speed, but strong hands allow for longer sustained control when he lands cleanly. There are areas of concern that might not be coachable, but Burke’s length and demeanor work in his favor."
