INDIANAPOLIS — The Colts are placing defensive tackle DeForest Buckner on season-ending injured reserve after he aggravated the herniated disc in his neck against San Francisco.
Buckner fought his way back into the lineup after just five weeks, but he suffered a setback against the 49ers that forced Buckner to undergo surgery on the disc.
The herniated disc was compressing a nerve in his neck, leading to a loss of feeling and strength at times in his left side.
