Los Angeles Rams fans sure won’t like the recent comments made by Indianapolis Colts safety Cam Bynum leading up to Sunday’s game. The Colts defender accused the Rams of playing fake crowd noise at SoFi Stadium because they don’t have “true fans” with how often they’ve moved cities.

He called it “more like a celebrity show” in Inglewood, sharing his unfiltered thoughts on what it’s like to play on the road against the Rams. Here’s what Bynum said about playing at SoFi during a podcast appearance earlier this week.

“I don’t like the stadium,” he said. “I didn’t like their turf. It’s the short turf because they have to scrub it down every week to change from the Chargers to the Rams logo. It’s slippery. It’s almost as bad as ours. And they play fake crowd noise because their crowd isn’t that turnt. The Rams, they have a good fanbase but they’ve moved around so much where it’s not like true fans. It’s more like a celebrity show in there. It’s like, all right, I know this is fake. Because on third downs, you see the crowd is sitting down, but somehow there’s noise coming from somewhere. So we’re just looking around last year, like, ‘Hold on, that noise is coming from the speakers because this crowd, nobody’s turnt up right now.’”

Bynum was on the Vikings last year when they faced the Rams in Week 8, which was at SoFi Stadium. So he got a taste of what the field and crowd was like. The Vikings then faced the Rams in the wild-card game, which was supposed to be played in Inglewood but was moved to Arizona due to the wildfires.

The Rams are hosting Bynum and the Colts this weekend and maybe after hearing his comments, the home crowd will be extra loud when Indianapolis’ offense is on the field.
