The Indianapolis Colts are dealing with another injury along the offensive line, early in their Monday Night matchup with the San Francisco 49ers.
On the second play of the game, center Tanor Bortolini exited the game. He is being evaluated for a concussion.
After heading to the blue medical tent, Bortolini was seen heading to the locker room.
Among all centers this season, Bortolini ranks tied for 11th in Pro Football Focus' pass-blocking efficiency metric. In run-blocking grade, he ranks third.
Without Bortolini, Danny Pinter has stepped in at center.
The Colts are already dealing with a lot of movement along the offensive line. With Bernhard Raimann out, Matt Goncalves has moved from right guard to right tackle. Jalen Travis is then at left tackle in this game, while Dalton Tucker is at right guard.
The Colts are continuing to lean on the quick passing game with Phillip Rivers at quarterback.
