It's transfer portal season once again in college football.
The spring period of the transfer portal opened on April 16 and will remain so until it closes on April 25. The spring game for the Colorado State football team isn't until April 26, which means some players will depart before spring ends.
Those moves have begun, with several players announcing their entrance into the portal.
Here's a look at the departures so far.
Receive Dylan Goffney announced on X on April 17 he was in the transfer portal with one season of eligibility remaining.
The 6-foot Goffney has one year left because he ended up redshirting in 2024 with the Rams due to health reasons. He had 29 catches for 355 yards and two touchdowns over parts of two seasons at CSU.
Goffney previously played at SMU.
Punter Will Hutchison announced on X he was in the portal. He walked on with the Rams in 2023 and didn't punt in any games for the Rams.
Long snapper Jake Dennis also announced his intention to portal with one season of eligibility remaining. After spending the 2022 season at Butler Community College, Dennis has served time as CSU's long snapper.
