Apr. 10—The Odessa College baseball team will be on the road for this week's Western Junior College Athletic Conference series.
The Wranglers will face El Paso Community College in a four-game series, beginning with a doubleheader at 1 p.m. Friday.
Both teams will close out the series with a doubleheader starting at 1 p.m. Saturday.
Odessa College is currently 26-9 overall, 18-2 in WJCAC and tied for first place in the conference with Midland College.
El Paso Community College enters the series at 28-12, 10-10.
The Wranglers swept Frank Phillips College last week with OC head coach David Wood earning his 100th career victory last Friday.
Odessa College pitcher Daniel Lopez was named the WJCAC Player of the Week after going perfect for 7.2 innings and finishing with a combined no-hitter.
