Chriss was a lottery pick while Melton was a 2nd rounder. He wasn't a lottery pick and he missed all of last season. Michael Porter Jr barely saw more time than him but still managed to be a lottery pick because he was considered a top prospect, even with injury concerns. Melton wasn't viewed the same way or he wouldn't have fallen as far as he did because the reason he missed last season wasn't because of his own health, which would effect his NBA career, it was an NCAA eligibility rule which doesn't matter to NBA teams. If he was talented enough he wouldn't have dropped as far as he did. Please provide some evidence of him being a potential lottery pick if you're going to continue to make that claim because it's just not true based on where he was picked.
