Kansas City Chiefs running back Isiah Pacheco spoke with reporters on Friday about setting the tone with teammate Kareem Hunt in the running game.

"It's important. First play of the game (or) whenever it is, every carry matters and playing off of each other's energy," said Pacheco, "Bringing that energy is going to be important this game."

The Chiefs' running back is still working his way back into form after missing multiple games due to a knee injury. Pacheco described the team's mentality heading into Sunday's must-win game.

"It's a challenge. We're up for a challenge, and that's what it's all about," said Pacheco, "Coming out to work and to compete every day. When it's a competition, it's fun, and it's what we love doing, competing."

The former Rutgers standout returned in Week 13 against the Dallas Cowboys, finishing the game with three carries for six yards. He also had two catches for 17 yards in the loss as Hunt continued to have the majority of the playing time.
