The Kansas City Chiefs will have a difficult decision to make with their No. 31 selection in the first round of the 2025 NFL draft, but one of the team's most beloved legends knows exactly how they should spend it.
Tamba Hali, who played for Kansas City from 2006 until 2017, took to Twitter on Thursday morning to tell fans that he wants the Chiefs to pick a defensive lineman.
As one of Kansas City's best pass-rushers of all time, Hali has continued mentoring the Chiefs' young linemen in his retirement and is sure to be excited to get another rookie in the mix.
Though it is unclear whether Kansas City's front office will heed Hali's request, the Chiefs clearly need help in the middle of their defensive line after veteran tackle Tershawn Wharton left the team in free agency earlier this year.
Stay tuned to see if general manager Brett Veach decides to give Hali a new pupil in Round 1, or if Kansas City will elect to select a lineman on Day 2 or 3 of the 2025 NFL draft.
