Last week, U.S. Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth had himself an embarrassing moment when he delivered a fake bible verse during a Pentagon service.

And even Charles Barkley is getting in on the jokes now.

During last week's worship, Hegseth recited a fake prayer from Quentin Tarantino's Pulp Fiction. The "Ezekiel 25:17" moment was so obvious as it was happening that even people in the audience could be seen smirking and holding back laughter.

Fast forward to Sunday's Inside the NBA, and Kenny Smith made a reference to attending church. And you know Barkley had that joke ready to go. He took an obvious dig at Hegseth's blunder.

Barkley said:

"Hey, we're not going to listen to the pope anymore. We're going to listen to Sam Jackson and Pulp Fiction."
