Each year, fans across the NFL look forward to what the Chargers will do with their schedule release video. This year, they went with a HALO themed release video. While it wasn't really on the level of what we have come to expect, it was still well done.
Some standout moments include their Week 10 matchup with the Ravens (2:56 mark) in which Master Chief has to "pass the physical" to beat Baltimore. Then it shows the Ravens' brief statement when they backed out of the trade for Maxx Crosby while Crosby and his wife were literally in Baltimore ready to formalize the trade.
"The Baltimore Ravens have backed out of our trade agreement for Maxx Crosby. We will have no further comment at this time."
Good to see Eric DeCosta's underhanded move is not just going away.
Everyone was waiting to see what the Chargers would do with their Patriots matchup in light of head coach Mike Vrabel having a longtime affair with now former Athletic sports reporter Dianna Russini. One in which more and more pictures seem to be coming out all the time of the two together.
They didn't ignore it entirely. At the 3:44 mark they show a sign that says "Next photo dump 1 mile"
In case you're wondering, their Raiders matchups occur in Week 2 and Week 14. Those segments happen at :36 and 4:07 marks.
