Madagascar has been drawn into Group B of the African Nations Championship (CHAN) alongside Tanzania, Mauritania, Burkina Faso, and Central African Republic.

Madagascar team preview​

The “Barea” have previously participated in the CHAN final tournament just once. In the 2022 edition held in Algeria, they finished third behind Senegal and Algeria.
