Celtics GM Brad Stevens Addresses Bombshell Jaylen Brown Rumors originally appeared on NESN. Add NESN as a Preferred Source by clicking here.
Jaylen Brown's friend and mentor Tracy McGrady dropped a bombshell rumor on Tuesday, saying on his "Cousins" podcast with Vince Carter that Brown seems frustrated with the Boston Celtics organization.
"His frustration lies deeply in the organization and other things that we don’t have the details to," McGrady said on his "Cousins" podcast with Vince Carter. "There’s just been a lot of stuff that I’ve been hearing, just going on with the Boston organization with JB."
This was news to Celtics president of basketball operations Brad Stevens, who addressed those rumors during his end-of-season press conference on Wednesday.
Brad Stevens on T-Mac's comments on Jaylen's frustrations with the organization:
"I talked to Jaylen, Monday… It was nothing but positive. He has not expressed those frustrations to me."

"I talked to Jaylen Monday a little bit, real quickly, and he was nothing but positive. He has not expressed those frustrations to me," Stevens said. "We've been here 10 years together. I do think that obviously I love JB, and everybody around here loves JB... None of that has been expressed to me."
Stevens emphasized that he's always available to his players and his "door is always open" when it comes to hearing their feedback.
Obviously Stevens is a more reliable source than McGrady on this matter, as McGrady might be embellishing or looking to stir up drama for his podcast. Regardless, it's encouraging that Brown's relationship with the organization may not be as bad as McGrady made it seem.
