With their backs against the wall down 2-0 to the New York Knicks in the Eastern Conference Semifinals, the Boston Celtics traveled to Madison Square Garden looking to get back into the series. After two awful shooting performances doomed them to open the series, Boston had a much better shooting performance in Game 3 as they looked to get themselves some type of momentum in this series.

After two straight games of shooting poorly from distance, the Celtics bounced back and shot 50% from 3-point range and unlike the first two games in Boston, they were able to hold onto their double digit lead. The Celtics starters would combine for 81 of the team's total of 115 points and they had a lead of at least 20 points for most of the entire second half.

Here's a quick recap of the Celtics 115-93 win over the Knicks on Saturday to get the series to 2-1.

Keys to the game:

Efficient shooting: For the first time this series, Boston was making their shots and it paved their way to victory on Saturday afternoon. As a team, they shot 50% from 3-point range and 48% from the field, they also didn't shy away from the long ball, shooting 40 3-point attempts, making a total of 140 from long range in the first three games. While there was understandable frustration through the first two games, Boston proved that as long as they're hitting their shots, things should be in their favor.

Never gave up the lead: After blowing two leads of 20 points at home to begin the series, the Celtics grabbed the lead early and would not let it go for the entire game. Boston would lead by at least 20 points for the entire second half, not allowing New York to get on any type of run and held their superstars Jalen Brunson and Karl-Anthony Towns in check as they combined for 48 points.

The Celtics will look to carry their momentum into Game 4 as they have a chance to even the series on the road and bring it back to Boston for Game 5. They'll need to keep their efficient shooting going after having it be their demise in the first two games. Boston's ability to win on the road will not only even the series but bring back momentum for them and their atmosphere if they're able to head home after stealing two games on the road.
