Celtic face away tie against Dundee United in Premier Sports Cup
Celtic will face Dundee United at Tannadice in the last 16 of the Premier Sports Cup following today’s draw.
The Hoops, who lost out to St Mirren in last season’s final, will be hoping to go one better this time around and reclaim the trophy they’ve won on 22 previous occasions, the most recent triumph coming two seasons ago when they beat Rangers on penalties in the final.
Martin O’Neill’s side signed off their pre-season preparations with a 2-2 draw at home to AC Milan on Saturday, and the focus is now on the opening game of the Premiership campaign – against Dundee at Celtic Park on Monday, August 3 (KO: 7.30pm).
The Premier Sports Cup tie against Dundee United at Tannadice is scheduled for the weekend of August 15/16. Further fixture details to follow.
