Ceddanne Rafaela finds himself in the best company.
A feat accomplished by the Boston Red Sox All-Star on Monday night in Sacramento against the A's had only previously been done for the franchise by Ted Williams in 1955.
The achievement: A grand slam that accounts for all four Red Sox runs in a win on the road.
Red Sox stats expert J.P. Long shared this tidbit on X:

For those keeping score at home -- that's a gap of 70 years and 11 months between these achievements.
It's also a great excuse to go down a rabbit hole and dig into that 4-3 Red Sox win from August 27, 1955.
The Williams grand slam came in the top of the ninth inning. Boston trailed 3-0 at the time.
The Red Sox actually outhit the Tigers that day 10-2, but they nearly lost before Williams came through.
After that game, Williams had raised his season OPS to 1.228 (.344 average, .491 on-base, .738 slugging).
Al Kaline went 0-for-4 for the Tigers that day to lower his season average to .349.
Bill Tuttle hit the game's other home run, a two-run shot for the Tigers.
The Red Sox also had the notable reality of hitting two guys named Billy in the top-two spots in the order: Billy Goodman and Billy Klaus.
And now, nearly 71 years later, Rafaela has made history not achieved since that box score from so long ago.
