A reporter for CBS New York wasn’t playing when a fan celebrated the New York Knicks’ NBA title Saturday with a hiccup of profanity.
At a watch party in Manhattan’s Radio City, Adi Guajardo was doing a remote segment for reactions after New York’s clinching victory over the San Antonio Spurs. That’s when the particularly enthusiastic reveler chimed in.
“We did it, we just did it, the Knicks ******* won!” the supporter said.
Guajardo tried to shush the person by briefly placing her hand over their mouth, then sheepishly apologized for it. “Oh no, no, no, stop,” she said.

“Oh my gosh, oh my gosh,” she said as she turned away and wiped her brow.
“This is the danger of live TV,” a voice from the studio interjected. “You can’t control live television,” said another.
Guajardo bumped it back to the studio while “we get this under control.”
“One of those nights where people are just kind of forgetting how to hold some kind of decorum,” one of the voices said.
While the expletive might have rattled the local news, it was child’s play compared to the mayhem and violence that truly marred the good vibes in Gotham.
