CLEVELAND — Cavaliers small forward Max Strus is expected to make his 2025-26 season debut on Sunday, March 15, when the Cavs host the Dallas Mavericks.

On March 14, the Cavs listed Strus as probable to play on their injury report.

Strus has not played this season after undergoing surgery on Aug. 26 to repair a Jones Fracture (fifth metatarsal) in his left foot, an injury he suffered during offseason training.

On Feb. 19, Cavs coach Kenny Atkinson said he expected Strus to return to game action during this regular season. The Cavs (41-26, fourth place in the Eastern Conference) have 15 games left before the NBA playoffs begin next month.

The Cavs also listed wing Jaylon Tyson (left ankle soreness) as questionable to play. Point guard James Harden (right thumb fracture) and guard Keon Ellis (left index finger fracture) are available to play.
