Nice point guard play. Starting a freshman shooting guard because Josiah can't behave and Mayes is defining the expression sophomore slump. I won't even go into Kyryl.

Maybe, I do think we played with better effort tonight knowing we would not have him. There's still too much dead weight on the roster (Lavender, Jacobsen, Kyryl) and so far this year I'll throw in Mayes. Add Chol being so being so green and Parrom playing at 50% you find yourself stuck with Turner, Johnson, Solo, and a couple seniors who are at best as role players due to their serious physical limitations. That's a 6-3 team when you look at our schedule. The good thing is we have a lot of room for improvement. Guys like Chol, Parrom, Turner (if he doesn't get the boot), and Johnson will be different players in six weeks.
