A bunch of data that, in the end doesn't really do much to seperate these two teams... The Saints offense is clearly predicated on spreading the ball around in a way I'm not sure we've seen before (7 players with 35 catches or more!), to go along with the #6 Rushing Offense in the NFL...
Equally important to note that they have only allowed 20 sacks all season! This one stat could prove to be our un-doing as there is no way in hell our secondary will be able to control and cover the Saints passing attack if Brees is comfy and cozy in the pocket. Somehow, some way Davis needs to find the secret to getting pressure on Brees, or else... Either that, or we do everything in our power to keep the Saints offense off the field. Which, when looking at the numbers, seems plausible... They're the #25 defense overall, #26 passing defense and #21 Rushing defense...

Brees has been off the charts since he joined New Orleans... In his 4 seasons witht the Saints, he's put up 4,418, 4,423, 5,069 and 4,388 yards passing! The 20 sacks he was hit with this season is the highest total he's felt since he joined the Saints! Incredible...
We need to keep him off the field, period!

I wonder how those stats would look if you just took them over the last 4 games of the season?
Drew Brees, his last 4 regular season games:

127/171, 74.2%, 1271 yards, 7 TD, 2 INT, 103.7 QB Rating

Hmm. Still looks pretty good to me. Now lets look at Kurt Warner's last 4 regular season games...

66/109, 60.5%, 750yds, 3 TD, 3 INT, 78.9 QB Rating

Uh-oh... according 40yearfan, Warner's bad QB play to end the year means you guys will be one and done in the playoffs...I'd watch out for Green Bay.

I don't know where you got your numbers. Warner had over 1,000 passing yards in the last 4 games he played in. And you are a day late and a dollar short if you think we have to watch out for Green Bay. We beat them LAST Sunday.

Drew Brees is a regular season QB.

What do you mean by that? That he can't play in the postseason or something else?

Brees teams are 1-2 in postseason. Brees is 78-123-916-5-2 in those three games. That's not bad.
