The Arizona Cardinals get back a pair of receivers to play against the Atlanta Falcons at State Farm Stadium on Sunday. They released their Week 16 inactive list 90 minutes before kickoff and not included were receivers Marvin Harrison Jr. and Xavier Weaver.
Both return after missing two games. Harrison was out with a heel injury. Weaver suffered a hamstring injury in practice in Week 14 leading up to the Cardinals' 45-17 loss to the Los Angeles Rams.
That gives the Cardinals a receiving trio of Harrison, Michael Wilson and Weaver, with likely a sprinkling of Jalen Brooks.
None of the Cardinals' inactives were much of a surprise.
All had been ruled out of the game except for Jones. Of those who were ruled out, all except for Brown are hurt. Brown is missing his third straight game with a personal issue.
Melton is missing his third straight game with a heel injury. Hall has a concussion. Thompson is out with a hamstring injury for the second straight week. Johnson has a knee injury.
Also active are receiver Steven Sims and cornerback Jaden Davis, who is making his NFL debut. He likely will fill Hall's role on special teams and as a backup slot corner. Sims will likely see work on the kickoff team.
Dadrion Taylor-Demerson is active for the first time since Week 10. He had an ankle injury.
