I hope, for their sake, they're "one of the handful of teams" that won't be wearing them this year.

Everyone uses same helmets all year due to "safety" the NFL says. Im not sure why it is less safe to have multiple colors of helmet though.

It's part of the concussion safety protocol and NFL CYA. Once a player is fitted for a helmet, that's the one they have to use for the season. Even a different colored helmet is a new helmet and no one wants to be liable for a potential concussion.

Agree that all-white would be sweet for the Cards. (I don't like the all-reds at all!)

But when it comes to all-black... It certainly seems appropriate for the Ravens & Saints, too!
