Will the Oline continue to look improved?

Can the defense actually stop anything and what kind of pressure can we get?

Hoping to see some improvement and a healthy game

Then back home to regroup

ML is sounding like he knows what he doing

got my morning blunt and iced espresso - you know what time it is - i'm about to get overly excited and sound like a cross between paulie shore and john madden - a hybrid if you will

so don't harsh my vibe man - or the cardinal defense cuz it's about to go BOOM - wearing my p2 jersey today cuz with blitzes come pick 6's

if sweat is missing i wanna see all monti's draft picks (or should i say calf picks) upfront

i imagine there's an unspoken gentleman's agreement not to kill eachother's qb - i'm not expecting rallis to dial it up but i am hoping our secondary turns up - i want atleast 1 pick tonight - my gut says melton

i also woke up today knowing there's a qb competition taking place for the #2 spot - i don't need a journalist to tell me - but if we see minshew and beck throwing to the same receivers i'm a believer

can't wait to see love - and tyler - but my biggest wildest dream is jayden williams - fans knock monti everyday but i think he answered the door this time - if jayden can play tackle on both ends (and not suck) that's like getting a free first round draft pick

when monti picks good nobody gives flowers because the stinkers are all that matter - lol it's how we roll but watch jayden at left tackle tonight - or maybe on the right - because that's how he rolls

#AZCardinals QB Carson Beck won’t play in tonight’s preseason game against the #Raiders due to a rib injury sustained in last Thursday’s Hall of Fame game. The injury is not considered serious.

Beck practiced through soreness all week but the team decided to keep him out tonight as a precaution and to allow more time to heal.

Beck practiced through soreness all week but the team decided to keep him out tonight as a precaution and to allow more time to heal.

beck won't play - variables be damned fans will still use the sample size from last week to compare with what minshew does tonight

if brissett's only rocking a drive or two we should see a ish ton if minshew - maybe this is by design because i haven't heard jack ish about beck's rib - matter fact - didn't he throw the viral no-look pass in practice AFTER the hof game?

Agreed…Feels like they aren’t being transparent.

I wonder if:

A) they don’t want him potentially out shining JB in this game and thus creating more of a QB controversy.

B) want to get Minshew more playing time to see if he is gonna end up as qb2 or qb3

Monti is playing it smart.

Trying to figure out a way to get something for Minshew. No need to rush him with a rib issue. Beck will be the backup/starter soon.

Gotta look out for the young QB.

I'm guessing when this big DT drove him into the ground he sustained that injury.

Remember that Beck practiced with the injury but the bottom line is the defense is not allowed to touch the qb during practices. Makes sense to hold him out against the Raiders.

The 300lb DT using his full weight to drive him into the ground looked much more likely.

i think it happened when they wanted to get a bunch of tape on minshew lol but you know me

Biggest question of the day...and probably the biggest indicator of how our season is going to go...

when all the ones are on the field...ours and theirs...

will our defensive front be able to stop Ashton Jeanty and Mike Washington Jr??

everyone knows stopping the run is paramount in the NFL...and while the Raiders are actually breaking in a very patchwork offensive line they have added some strong pieces to patch in.

Then, we shift into our long standing Achilles heal... stopping Tight Ends...so far our linebackers inside have toes a fine line between sucking rocks and sucking canal water.... they cant tackle and they cant find a target to hit even if they could actually tackle...so the Raiders are going to do them a favor and just throw the ball to the guy they need to tackle... but, neither of the guys they will be throwing too like to go down...they just dont wanna...
so our undersized no instinct having just cant bring a guy down linebackers will have a rough night tonight. This flaw may well be highlighted even if the Raiders choose not to exploit it.... however... they have a group of nobody WR's they need some questions answered on...so I do not expect them to just full on feed the TE's regardless of whether or not doing so causes our defense to part like the red sea... but when they go that way we need to pay attention...maybe our guys can use it as an opportunity to take away the rock?? Our backers cant do anything else demanded of the position...so maybe they can pull turnovers out of the passing game?? would be nice..... but I have so little faith in our ILB group right now I am not expecting any sudden bright spots to make themselves known....

should be a fun first quarter though

Beck was sacked late in the second quarter by defensive end Jared Harrison-Hunte, with Harrison-Hunte falling on top of the QB.
