Cardinals add two solid "need" players with first two picks!

Tim, I'm with you. We got 2 receivers, hopefully one or both will pan out. The defence will be up graded after June 1. Suggs will be a malecontent. The trouble is, people hear the name over and over and think he's a star already. Remember the great Wadsworthless trade. How great was that. The Cards have a plan and are slowly piecing it together. The offense is complete. The defense is 2 or 3 signings away.

This trade is not all that bad. Yes we picked up 2 very good WR's and an up and comming DE. But my problen is we traded the 4th.
When you trade you try to get the most from the team you are willing to trade down with. THEY give you the picks and not in reverse!! A #4 pick is a borderline starter or reserve and is not fodder. I am just trying to figure that out.

I think it is fair to say the Cardinals followed up the first two solid picks with two more very good picks. All very signable and all should play a lot and contribute from Day 1 in the 2003 season. Now onto Day 2 of the NFL Draft. Keep the faith my friends!

Now what the heck do you know that causes you to make this statement? Or should it read the Suggs MAY be a malcontent just like our own picks?

The Wadsworth trade was great. We actually got more than what we gave up. I guess you will hold up the trade with NO yesterday as a model of how to get more for less??

That is what the GREAT HOWDY keeps on saying. What I have seen is they are flying by the seat of their pants.

That is why RB Onterrio Smith still hasn't been drafted- almost every board had him going 1st or 2nd round. The sooner you realize the only boards that matter is the individual teams board you will realize the Cardinals added some quality impact players today. Add in the fact that 3 yrs from now only 30% of these 1st round players will still be starting for their respective teams and you will see that the "round" someone is drafted in doesn't truly make up the players future.
