Jordan Walker has changed what we all thought was possible for him this season, and honestly maybe even his career. Two natural questions arise from this supernova start for Walker. These are the issues we consider with guest Thomas Gauvain on this week’s Redbird Rudnown.

First, the obvious one: can he keep doing this? We discuss what level is possible and how his K% and whiff% play into that. We talk about what his body langauge tells us about his own expectations and how the turning point could’ve been a specific at bat in spring training.

There was much more to discuss though. What about the rest of the Cardinals outfield? Walker is propping up a group that is underacheiving both offensively and defensively. What gives? Who vacates their spot first? Is there any hope from this version of the island of misfit toys?

It was a fun conversation. The links are below. Thanks for taking the time to listen, it’s always appreciated. It would be awesome if you could subscribe on your platform of choice! Thanks for listening! It’s a pleasure to belong to a community like this one.
