The Los Angeles Rams were busy this offseason, making both big moves and modest ones. Their first real swing of the winter was a trade for Trent McDuffie, which was followed by a record-setting $124 million contract for the All-Pro cornerback.

They then signed Jaylen Watson, Kam Curl and Tyler Higbee to multi-year deals, continuing to solidify the roster on both sides of the ball. There was also a pair of additions made on special teams with Grant Stuard and Joe Cardona, as well as the tendering of Xavier Smith, Harrison Mevis and Jusin Dedich.

With just about every new signing now officially on the books, we have cap information for all of the Rams’ latest contracts. Interestingly, not a single new deal has a cap hit over $11 million in 2026, which was intentional by Los Angeles.

The Rams kept this year’s cap hits low so that they can add as many pieces as possible, pushing money into the future when the bill will eventually come due.

Here’s a look at each signing’s 2026 cap hit, according to Over The Cap.

  • Trent McDuffie: $10.8 million
  • Kam Curl: $7.42 million
  • Jaylen Watson: $6.95 million
  • Tyler Higbee: $5.06 million
  • Grant Stuard: $1.85 million
  • Joe Cardona: $1.65 million
  • David Quessenberry: $1.49 million
  • Xavier Smith: $1.08 million
  • Keir Thomas: $1.08 million
  • Justin Dedich: $1.08 million
  • Harrison Mevis: $1 million

In the case of McDuffie, the Rams actually lowered his 2026 cap hit by extending him, dropping it from $13.6 million to $10.8 million. They wouldn't have done that if they weren't planning to be aggressive this offseason.

Curl and Watson's 2026 cap hits are also the lowest they will be at any point during the lifespan of their contracts, backloading those deals to free up space this year. Is another big move coming? We'll see. But we do know the Rams talked to the Eagles about a trade for A.J. Brown, which would've required significant cap space.
