World Cup co-hosts Canada defeated Uzbekistan 2-0 in their penultimate tune-up game on Monday night, and there were also wins for Colombia, Austria, Norway and Turkey.
Jonathan Osorio opened the scoring in rainy Edmonton in the 58th minute and Jayden Nelson wrapped up matters in stoppaghe time.
Canada struggled in the difficult conditions and against a compact defence of Uzbekistan who make their World Cup debut at the June 11-July 19 tournament in the United States, Mexico and Canada.
Canada play a final tune-up match on Friday against Ireland before their first World Cup match on June 12 against Bosnia-Herzegovina. The other teams in their group are Qatar and Switzerland.
Uzbekistan's first World Cup opponents Colombia defeated Costa Rica 3-1 from early goals by Dávinson Sánchez and Luis Díaz and an 81st-minute effort by Luis Suárez. Star player James Rodríguez came on in the second half in Bogota.
Earlier on Monday, Marcel Sabitzer fired 10-man Austria to a 1-0 win over Tunisia as Ralf Rangnick's side wrapped up their preparations on home soil.
Sabitzerr settled the contest in the 63rd minute at Vienna's Ernst Happel Stadium. The midfielder had also scored the winner in Austria's previous friendly victory over South Korea in March.
Austria were reduced to 10 men in the 36th minute when Konrad Laimer was shown a red card for a last-man handball.
Austria open their World Cup campaign against Jordan on June 16.
Norway and Turkey win World Cup warm-ups
Norway shrugged off the absence of Erling Haaland to beat Sweden 3-1 and claim their first win of the year.
Jørgen Strand Larsen put Norway ahead in the ninth minute before Antonio Nusa doubled the lead in the 18th. Strand Larsen struck again before half-time to make it 3-0. Liverpool's Alexander Isak scored Sweden's consolation in the 76th minute.
Turkey also made a flying start to their World Cup preparations with a 4-0 win over North Macedonia.
Vincenzo Montella's side almost scored inside 11 seconds when Can Uzun hit the bar, before Orkun Kökçü put Turkey ahead after just 62 seconds.
Uzun did get his first international goal in the 16th minute, before Deniz Gül and Barış Alper Yılmaz completed the win after the break.
