The Cameroon national team delivered a resounding 5-0 victory over Botswana on February 7, in the first leg of the third round of the 2026 FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup qualifiers in Poland.
On home turf at the Olembe Stadium in Yaoundé, the Cameroon U-20 Lionesses showed no mercy to their opponents.A dominant scoreline: 5-0 against Botswana. With free admission for fans, the Lionesses, guided by coach Hassan Bala, took complete control of the match from start to finish.
After netting two goals in the first half, the players put on a show by adding three more after the break.
With this emphatic victory, Cameroon sends a clear message ahead of the return leg scheduled for next week.
