The Duke Blue Devils defeated the Virginia Cavaliers Saturday night, earning their second consecutive ACC Championship. Sophomore guard Isaiah Evans led the way, scoring a game-high 20 points on 4-for-8 shooting from three-point range.

Cayden Boozer also performed well, scoring 16 points to tie his career-high, which he set a day earlier against Clemson.

Despite being voted the ACC Player of the Year, Cameron Boozer struggled against Virginia, missing 14 shots, finishing the game 3-for-17 from the field.

Even though the shots weren't falling, the National Player of the Year found other ways to impact the game. Boozer grabbed eight rebounds and dished out eight assists to go along with his 13 points, which included two free throws to ice the game with three seconds left.

Following the game, Boozer was named ACC Tournament MVP, averaging 20 points, 10 rebounds and five assists over three games.

Speaking to the media after the victory, Boozer revealed how he wants to be remembered.

I always want to be known as a winner. Being able to come out here, find a way to win. It was a great team effort. (...) Virginia is great team and it's hard to beat a great team twice. So proud of my guys. We worked so hard to be here to have an opportunity to be in a championship game and win a championship, so it was a great team win.

Now with the ACC Championship under their belts, Boozer and the Blue Devils will turn their attention to a National Championship. If Duke were to get over the hump, it'd be their first NCAA title in over 10 years, since they beat Wisconsin in 2015.
