After a historic season at Duke, Cameron Boozer has been named to the Wooden All-America Team and a Wooden Award finalist.

Boozer joins Darius Acuff Jr. (Arkansas), AJ Dybantsa (BYU), Jeremy Fears Jr. (Michigan State), Kingston Flemings (Houston), Joshua Jefferson (Iowa State), Yaxel Lendeborg (Michigan), Braden Smith (Purdue), JT Toppin (Texas Tech) and Keaton Wagler (Illinois) on the Wooden All-America Team and will compete against Acuff Jr., Dybantsa, Lendeborg, and Smith for the Wooden Award.

If named the Wooden Award winner, Boozer would become the ninth Blue Devil and the fifth freshman to receive the honor. He would join Cooper Flagg, Zion Williamson, JJ Redick, Alana Beard (women's), Jay Williams, Shane Battier, Elton Brand and Christian Laettner as Blue Devils to receive the honor.

Considered the front-runner for the award for much of the year, Boozer's season was not just among the best in the nation, but one of the best in Blue Devil history. He set a program record for the most win shares in a single season (10.4), his 22.5 points per game ranked ninth nationally, his 10.2 rebounds per game ranked 12th, and his 885 total points and 389 total rebounds were the third most in a single season by a Duke player. Add in his 4.1 assists and impressive three-point efforts — 39.1% on 3.6 attempts per game, and you have the engine of a top 10 offense that also led a team ranked among the top-three in defensive efficiency rating.

So far, Boozer has been named the ACC Player of the Year and became the first Division I player to win the National Association of Basketball Coaches’ Player of the Year, Freshman of the Year and Big Man of the Year awards.

Though his NCAA Tournament run ended early, Boozer made a lasting impact in his freshman season. The second-generation Blue Devil is expected to enter the 2026 NBA Draft and is projected to be a top-three pick.
