Former Duke Blue Devils star Cameron Boozer was taken No. 3 overall in the 2026 NBA Draft after finishing his lone season in Durham. Boozer earned the Naismith National Player of the Year last season, helping lead Duke to a No. 1 seed an an appearance in the Elite 8.

Despite not winning a national title or getting to the Final Four, Boozer is going to go down as a Duke legend. The hope is that he can follow in the footsteps of fellow Duke basketball stars in the NBA, including the success that both Cooper Flagg and Kon Knueppel had in their rookie seasons.

As for Boozer's rookie season, we saw a glimpse of what he can do in terms of the NBA Summer League back in July. Now we know when we will see Boozer next as the NBA has released the full 2026-27 schedule.

The Grizzlies will open up the 2026-27 season at home on Wednesday, October 21 when they host the Utah Jazz. It will be the first time Grizzlies fans can see this new-look roster in a regular season game. Boozer will face off against No. 2 overall pick Darryn Peterson in the game. They will actually meet twice in the first four games of the season.

From there, they will hit the road for a four-game roadtrip before returning home for four more games.

Some other key games includes matchups against AJ Dybantsa and Washington on November 17th and April 7th as well as Caleb Wilson and the Chicago Bulls on March 13th and 25th.

Peterson and Boozer will meet a total of three times with the third matchup coming in January.

Another notable game for Memphis is the return of Ja Morant. The franchise went in a different direction this offseason, opting to build around Boozer and trading Morant to Portland. The Grizzlies will host the Trailblazers in a back-to-back as Portland comes to town on February 6th and 8th.

As for national TV, the Grizzlies appear twice as they host Houston on NBC Sports Network on January 18th and then Portland on Amazon Prime on February 6th.

Let's hope that Boozer can get off to a strong start this season and continue it on throughout the season.
