Chicago Bears quarterback Caleb Williams continued to align himself with the biggest figures around the city, looking to keep the franchise and their popularity in the spotlight.
Not only has Williams had a great friendship with Chicago Cubs outfielder Pete Crow-Armstrong, but most of the offseason he has spent time putting over his favorite restaurants in the city, going to music festivals, and now, he's giving back to the Pope of the Catholic church, a Chicago native.
On Fourth of July, Williams gifted Pope Leo XIV an autographed jersey, bringing the connection even closer between the Pope and his hometown Chicago sports teams.
Williams continues to impact the city of Chicago both on and off the field, and moves like this will continue to keep him in a great light, especially if he keeps leading the Bears to successful seasons. This year, Williams will look to lead the Bears to even greater heights after finishing the 2025 season with 11 wins on the year and a trip to the NFC divisional playoffs, where they were eliminated by the Los Angeles Rams.
